I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the OSU Fashion Show as both a designer and a model during my Junior year.
Over two months, I created two looks that brought my vision to life on the runway.
It was a rewarding experience to model one of my own designs and another stunning piece by designer Helen Nguyen. Being both behind and in front of the scenes gave me a unique perspective on the fashion process!
My collection
The "Formie" set draws inspiration from the words "formal" and "for me."
It reimagines the classic suit into a chic and versatile look that suits various wearers. By blending structured elements of formal wear with a modern, personalized twist, the Formie set stands out as both stylish and adaptable.

The button-up tube top features a flattering princess seam, cropped for a contemporary edge, with three functional front buttons and full lining for added comfort and refinement.

The wide-legged pants bring a sense of effortless movement, featuring tailored details such as welt pockets, pants cuffs, and a waist yoke.
side-seam button closure allows the waistband to fold down, creating a bold asymmetrical look when unbuttoned. Buttons at the pant cuffs add versatility and a custom fit, making this set both polished and playful.
My Designs
The Raffiné Suit is a refined blend of elegance and modern sophistication, crafted from a woven, embossed stretch fabric that offers both structure and flexibility.
The Raffiné Suit
The blazer, in a chic white cream shade, is slightly oversized for comfort while maintaining a polished look. It features wide lapels and a collar that add a bold, tailored touch. Princess seams, embellished with delicate bow-tie details along the front, introduce a sense of femininity.
Fully lined for a seamless finish, the blazer closes with two front buttons and is accentuated by four smaller buttons on each sleeve opening, adding refinement to the relaxed silhouette.
Accompanying the blazer is a mini wrap-around skirt, secured with button closures.
The unique design, with rounded corners on one side, creates a distinctive split, adding a stylish twist to the classic mini.
Fully lined, the skirt enhances the sophistication of the ensemble, making the Raffiné Suit both timeless and contemporary.
Alongside designing and modeling my own pieces, I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with a fellow designer-Helen Nguyen, who is also a close friend. I was honored to model her stunning two-piece asymmetrical suit set, a design that perfectly captures her unique aesthetic.
The experience was incredibly rewarding, offering me a new perspective on fashion and allowing me to showcase another designer's vision through my own interpretation. This collaboration not only expanded my modeling portfolio but also strengthened the creative bond between us.
